The increasing connectivity of vehicles and the growing amount of software in vehicles and surrounding infrastructure potentially give attackers with an ever larger attack surface. Demonstrating a working cybersecurity management system is obligatory for automotive manufacturers and more and more for the supply chain.

Auditing of Cybersecurity Management Systems

The AQI played a key role in the development of the VDA volume "Automotive Cybersecurity Management System Audit“ and helped design the training concept for cybersecurity experts in the automotive industry. This enables automotive companies to have their cybersecurity management system audited in accordance with legal requirements and in line with industry standards (ISO/SAE 21434). In this way,OEMs and suppliers can demonstrate their responsible management of cybersecurity both internally and to customers. AQI offers consulting services for the automotive industry for this purpose.
